These blocks are 30cm squared...they're part of a crochet along group I've joined on Raverly...we get a new pattern every month and at the end of the year we put them together to make a beautiful blanket. I make two squares a month so maybe I will make one blanket half year and one end of year....love how they are working out so far :D
Have come to realise that I have a thing for make cushion covers....not sure why but can't seem to stop making them!

First pair of slippers complete! Am super keen to make some different slipper designs now....starting tonight :)
Have been wanting to make slippers for ages, am now taking the plunge (this is what they look like so far) 
Found this awesome Japanese crochet slippers book at my local craft store...using that pattern
According to the book this is how cool my slippers are going to look by the time I am finished....ever hopeful! 
So far so good...am making this for a friend who loves flowers...am digging it more then I expected, hope she does too!

Kicked off the new year by giving one of my favourite people in the world a scarf! She choose the colours, I did the design (and made it of course) ....so take that you crazy hong kong office air-cons!!!
This face washer, towel and basket set using recycled cotton (Red Heart Eco-Cotton Blend) is one of my latest obsessions, I want to make hundreds.....as you can see haven't yet finished one. But fall in love with is now as it's probably your next gift from me....you will love it ;)
Was rushing to get this done in time for German's birthday and made a mistake!!!
It really doesn't pay to rush :( so now I have to undo and redo the corner bit...*sigh* ...but it is going to look lovely when it's done :D
Have started on making my first crocheted mat, it's really not hard to do and looks quite good, but more importantly, it keeps my feet warm as my flat is all cold white tiles
Pleased I was able to meet my goal of 4 (one further down on another post) hope they keep the children warm and, in some small measure, help them feel loved...
Have started a new baby blanket for a friend that is expecting....once again can't resist those ripples!
Unfortunately I no longer have a camera to use! I have made sooo many things but can't upload them here yet :( I have made four scarfs for the Mongolia childrens project, this was the first one that I lucky got a photo of before the camera was lost. 
Meet Nicole....a self confessed perfectionist and my lastest student! Here she's wearing her first effort, a fab scarf, fantastic work for a beginninger! I can already see that it's just a matter of time before she surpases me to achieve the rank of master.....more power to you my friend

At first I thought my colour choice might be too bright, but now I am really into it

The urge to crochet is going into overdrive with the beginning of October (even though it's still stinking hot here in HK) Scarfs are calling to me....
....these autumn colours are my first attempt using mohair yarn...it's tricky but makes an interesting effect...
and here is a shades of aqua ripple scarf I've begun, can't seem to stay away from the ripples! 
Here is the latest on my pink ripple creation, I have experimented with the colour combos a bit and am not sure what I think of the results....
....but I guess you've got to fiddle around to decide what you like, it's the multi-coloured pink and white-ish yarn that I'm not so fond off
Have started a new ripple blanket, pink, for my dearest Kim O who I love and who loves pink :) 
Have now finished all of the 6 rounds in my Babette, and most of the 8 too.....
I am steaming along with this blanket....feeling very motivated!
Have finally finished blocking rounds 2 and 4 of my Babette blanket....still lots to do...
but am loving the results!!
I am totally delighted with this blanket already....it's the first 100% pure wool blanket that I have made so far and am really enjoy the texture of the wool as I work....
Am planning to block every square....as you can see with this blue and purple baby it really does look much better, it's painstaking work though!
